I've changed phones

Sign in to the same Halis account on your new phone to recover data that has already synced. Anything still waiting on your old device needs to be sent first.

Prepare the move while you can still open Halis on your old phone. Signing in retrieves data that has already synced; it cannot fetch transactions that remain only in the old device’s local storage.

Prepare your old phone

  1. Open Halis with a network connection available.
  2. Open sync status from your profile and check for pending items.
  3. Keep the app open while exchanges resume.
  4. Check that status again before uninstalling Halis or resetting the phone.

A transaction visible in the local journal has not necessarily been sent yet. For example, purchases recorded during a network outage still need to leave the old phone before they can appear on the new one.

Sign in on the new phone

  1. Install Halis and open the sign-in flow.
  2. Use a method already linked to the same account: Google, Apple or email.
  3. Complete the requested verification. If Halis reports other active devices, read that information before continuing.
  4. Set up the local protection offered on this phone according to your choice.
  5. Keep a connection available during initial recovery, then check your accounts and a few recent transactions.

Your access code and biometrics open Halis on a particular device. Do not assume that the old phone’s protection settings have been copied to the new one.

If your accounts do not appear

First check the sign-in identity you used. Another address or Google or Apple identity can correspond to a different space. Also compare the accounts and periods you are viewing before deciding that transactions are missing.

If recent purchases are missing but older ones are present, return to the old device and check its network and sync status. Avoid immediately entering the missing purchases again: they could arrive later and be counted twice.

Remove the old access

From your profile on the new phone, open Security, then My devices. Identify the old phone using the details in its row, tap Sign out, then confirm and complete the security verification requested by the phone.

The device you are using has its own marker in the list. Check your target carefully: disconnecting a device cuts its account access without deleting your Halis account. It does not replace syncing pending entries on the old phone first.

If you no longer have the old device

Sign in to the same account to retrieve what has already synced, then review device access. Signing in elsewhere cannot recover entries that the lost or unavailable phone never sent.

When asking for help, specify the sign-in method used, the data present or missing and the stage shown. Do not share codes or passwords, and preserve the old device without erasing it while checking its pending entries.
