I haven't received my code

Your sign-in code goes to the email address shown in Halis. Check that address and your spam folder, then use the resend option on screen.

The message you need depends on the address used for this sign-in attempt. You must be able to open that mailbox and return to Halis on the phone where you requested the code.

Check the destination

  1. Read the address shown above the code boxes.
  2. If it contains a mistake, tap Change, correct the address and request the code again.
  3. Open that mailbox. Check spam and any other folders your email service uses to sort messages.
  4. If several Halis messages arrived, find the one for your latest request.

For example, if you are checking a personal mailbox while the screen shows a work address, resending will still target the work address. Correct the destination before requesting another code.

Enter the code

Return to Halis and enter the six digits from the message for your current request. Verification starts as soon as you fill the sixth box: there is no submit button to look for.

The code is tied to the device that requested it. You can read the email on a computer, but enter the code in the Halis flow started on your phone.

Request another email

Wait until Send a new code becomes available, then use it if the message is still missing or the code has expired. After resending, use the message for that new request rather than continuing with the previous attempt’s message.

A countdown may temporarily prevent another request. If Halis says there have been too many requests, follow the wait shown on screen; changing screens does not resolve that limit.

Understand a refusal

  • Incorrect code: check the digits and the message you used before trying again; the screen shows the remaining attempts.
  • Expired code: request another using the resend option provided.
  • No attempts left: request a new code from the screen shown.
  • Network problem: restore your connection before retrying verification or requesting another email.

The email code confirms your sign-in. The access code you can choose in Halis protects subsequent opening on that device. Both are also separate from your phone’s unlock code.

If you are still stuck

If you previously used Google or Apple, use the method already linked to your account rather than waiting for an email from a different method. Also check that your mailbox receives other messages and your phone has a connection.

When asking for help, describe the stage reached, the message shown and the checks you have made. Do not share the email code or your access code. This guide does not guarantee an email delivery time.
